221 FENTANYL AND STOLEN 9 MM PISTOL SENDS CONVICTED FELONG BACK TO PRISON

Friday May 12, 2022, thirty-three-year old Timothy Hall of Bremerton pled guilty to Identity Theft in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the First Degree. Hall was sentenced to 78 months in prison followed by 12 months of DOC community custody.

DOC records show that on January 5, 2022, Mr. Hall was released from prison after serving 80 months of a 108-month sentence for pointing a pistol at a Washington State Trooper.

Court records show that two months after his release, March 5, 2022, Deputy Alan Jorgensen stopped Mr. Hall for crossing over the centerline on Four Corners Road. Initially, Mr. Hall provided the license for Trevor McCoy, but Deputy Jorgensen was able to determine Mr. Hall’s true identity and he was placed under arrest. The vehicle impound process revealed the Fentanyl pills, a large amount of methamphetamine, a stolen wallet containing Mr. McCoy’s wallet (including driver’s license, social security card, and credit cards), and a 9 MM pistol. Follow up investigation by Detective Art Frank of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office determined that the pistol was stolen from a car in Bremerton on February 7, 2022.

In addition to his 78-month sentence for the new Fentanyl and gun charge, DOC imposed the remaining 28 months of Mr. Hall’s previous sentence.

“I’m really glad to get a stolen gun and a large quantity of drugs off the streets” stated Deputy Prosecutor Melissa Pleimann.

James Kennedy thanked Ms. Pleimann for her work on the case and expressed his gratitude for Deputy Jorgensen’s handling of what could have been a dangerous situation.
