Port Ludlow – Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) will remove the No Water Contact Advisory for Port Ludlow Bay effective Tuesday, January 12, 2021. A confirmed sewage overflow of 42,000 gallons on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, led to the Advisory that was issued that same day, (available at Olympic Water and Sewer, Inc. cleared the blockage that led to the spill and confirmed that plant operations returned to normal at 7:00 am Tuesday.  Although the water quality has improved, JCPH always recommends avoiding areas around stormwater pipes during heavy rainfall events due to the possibility of pollutants in the water. 160725_02822
