Speed Camera Violation Scam March 2023

If you receive an email from Speed Camera Violations stating that you have been detected with a speed infringement in Port Townsend, WA please be aware this is a Scam. The email may list a fine and may have an option to click on a link to see photo proof or to pay the fine. DO NOT click on the link. The scam email gives a case number which is a fake number. Jefferson County District Court handles all traffic violations for Jefferson County, which include infractions filed by the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, and Washington State Patrol. None of these agencies currently operate or run Speed Camera Enforcement in Jefferson County.
