Thorndyke Resource

The County is currently waiting on the results of a lawsuit between the applicant and the Department of Natural Resources over the required tidelands lease to build the pier, as well as a proposed marina operations plan on how the barges will transit the eastern span of the Hood Canal bridge, and a barge-loading noise model. We anticipate the lawsuit could take approximately 18 months or more for a ruling.

This webpage will be revised whenever there is something to report on in terms of moving the project along. If you are a party of record (submitted comments on the EIS), you will be notified if, when and where the Shoreline Public Hearing will be. If you would like to talk about any aspect of this, please call at 360-379-4465. Thanks!
